The small single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) limit switch is ideal for keeping track of physical parts in a system. It can also be used as a simple user input button as it makes a noticeable click when pressed. The maximum switching ratings can be found in the manufacturer’s datasheet which you should be sure to have a look at. The maximum current that can be switched will vary with voltage. The wheel on the end of the leverl allows the switch to be triggered by objects brushing up against the switch in either direction.
